If, for any reason, you wish to return an Oakham product purchased from our website, you must notify us and send back the product within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery. Please note that ownership of returned items transfers to us only upon their arrival at our fulfillment center. In some cases, we may issue a refund without requiring a return. In these cases, ownership of the refunded item remains with you.

Non-Oakham Retailer Purchases

Please be aware that we do not accept returns for products purchased from other retailers. These products are governed by the return policies of the respective retailers, and we are not liable for any issues related to such returns.

Shipping Fees and Refunds

Upon receipt and verification of the returned item(s), refunds will typically be processed within 5 business days. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider or financial institution. If the return is initiated due to a change of preference or an exchange, the buyer is responsible for the associated shipping costs. Furthermore, the initial shipping fees will be deducted from the total refund amount.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Whether you purchased the item from our website or through external channels like Amazon or Walmart, please provide the order number or sales invoice to ensure a smooth process. We will respond with detailed instructions, including the return warehouse address, and guide you through the steps to return the product or arrange for an exchange. Products must be returned in their original packaging within 10 days of receiving these instructions to avoid complications.

Special Considerations

Gift Returns

If you received an Oakham product as a gift and wish to return it, the original purchaser must contact us directly with the original order number to facilitate the return. We recommend keeping the original packaging to help process the return more efficiently.

Exchanges Due to Preferences or Errors:

If you are exchanging an item due to personal preference, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. However, if the exchange is due to an error on our part, such as receiving the wrong item, we will cover the shipping costs for the correct item.

Extended Return Periods During Holidays:

We understand that many purchases during the holiday season are gifts, so we offer an extended return period. Specific details of this extension will be provided at the time of purchase, accommodating the unique needs of holiday shopping.

Handling Lost or Damaged Returns

If a return is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving such issues promptly and will ensure that you are not penalized for circumstances beyond your control.

Regular Priced Items Returns

Returns of regularly priced items are accepted within 30 days from the purchase date on oakhamdesign.com. Note that Oakham does not accept returns for items that have been used or are not in their original packaging. All returns must be pre-authorized with a Return Authorization number (RA#), which you can obtain by contacting us. Returns without an RA# will not be processed. The customer is responsible for all return shipping expenses, and we recommend using a service that provides tracking and insurance.

A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns made due to personal preference or subjective reasons. This fee covers inspection, restocking, and inventory costs. The refund, less the restocking fee and any original shipping charges, will be issued upon the successful receipt and inspection of the returned item.

Promotions and Discounts (Regular Priced Items)

Returns for products bought with a promotional code or during a discount sale are subject to specific terms that may affect the refund amount. If returning an item purchased under such conditions, the refund will be adjusted to reflect the discount, and original shipping costs may not be fully refundable.
